I still remember the day I first saw an iPhone. I had just signed up for T-Mobile. I had bought the T-Mobile Wing. A friend had came over to show me his new iPhone. I was amazed. I fell in love with the camera. The screen size. The ease of use. After seeing the iPhone I hated my phone. It felt ugly, outdated and useless. I wanted an iPhone and nothing else.
At the time I had never really looked too much into Apple. I remember using colored iMacs in school, I loved them. I remember it being fun typing documents and using the internet. I remember wanting to go to school just to use them. At the time I wasn't into technology. I didn't care what happened in the technology world. I would have never thought a computer company would change all that.
My first Apple product was a 60GB Wheel Click iPod, Sold to me by a friend. I instantly fell in love with it. The idea that you can have all your music in your pocket astonished me. Way before iPod I remember wanting a device that can hold all my music. A software for all my music and a way to get a hold of music. At the time I thought RealPlayer was the answer. I thought MP3s were the answer for my device. I was wrong. I remember the market being flooded with MP3s. I remember researching and going though reviews. Each one of them had a flaw. No one made a complete perfect Music Player. Apple changed that.
I also remember a time not too long ago wanting a device that was always connected. A device having all my music, photos, and videos. At the time I thought a netbook with a USB internet connection and DVD Player along with a DVD Booklet was the answer. I tried it. It didn't work. At the time it was rumored Apple was going to release a tablet that can do all that and more. April 3, 2010 Apple announced iPad. I don’t think I have to tell you what happened next.
After I bought my first iPhone, At the time being a iPhone 3G. I knew I would invest everything in Apple. I knew I would replace everything I had with Apple. I knew if I love what Apple did for me in a phone I was going to love what they did for me in a computer. I have invested thousands of dollars in Apple Products and Media. I don’t regret it one bit.
Everyday I appreciate Apple. I appreciate Apple making it easy for me to follow my passions. I appreciate Apple making it easy for me to find all my favorite Music, Television Shows and Movies. Apple keeps everything I love synced, organized, backed up and safe.
I love the creative software Apple has created. So clean and so easy to use. If you want someone to do something, It has to be easy. When something is easy people want to do it more. People feel good when they know how to use it, Giving them more confidence. Apple has done that for me and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
Apple has made me more passionate about my hobbies. Apple made it easy to create. I have become a better artist because of Apple. A better photographer because of Apple. If it wasn't for Apple I don't think I would of been the creative person I am today. I wouldn't follow Technology. Modernhipsters wouldn't exist. I wouldn't follow photography. Piximagery wouldn't exist.
Since Apple I have followed Technology every day, every second. It has become an addiction. With Apple I have become a better artist, A better photographer, A more creative person.
Steve Jobs has taught me to think different. To never listen to anyone else and to be the best at what I love and never stop thinking ahead. Steve Jobs changed the world. He was our modern day genius. Our modern day Einstein. Our modern day Edison.
I wish I had the chance to meet him...One day I will.
